Early Concept
As Senior Lead Industrial Designer, I partnered directly with the client to take this connected garment from concept to market. My role spanned the full product journey — from early ideation and design through prototyping, DVT/EVT/PVT phases — working closely with electrical engineers to integrate technology seamlessly into the garment. The result was a refined, production-ready device that merged fashion and function into an intuitive wearable experience.
Design and Engineering Validation
Pre production sample, The self contained electronic housing connects to the yoga pants via custom button snaps that also serve to transmit power and data.
Nadi X - App Intergration
Nadi X is a pioneering tech garment that integrates woven sensors and discreet vibration motors to guide users through yoga practice. Paired with a mobile app, the leggings deliver real-time feedback — gently vibrating at key muscle groups to encourage alignment and posture correction. As Senior Lead Industrial Designer, I worked end-to-end on the device integration, from concept and design through prototyping and production, collaborating closely with electrical engineers to merge technology seamlessly with fashion.
